Introduction

I don’t know if anyone will see this and, to be honest, I hope someone does.  I am considering this a journal in the form of a blog focused on a spiritual journey of, more than likely, major proportions.

The title of this blog is, “Treading the Land”, which is fairly self explanatory.  You see, I have fallen very far from grace.  I have not attended any church of any kind, for the sole purpose of worship, in over 15 years.  

Lately, I have increasingly fallen on hard times and feel that it’s time to find my path back to God.  I have lost all knowledge of the scriptures and most of what my church even teaches.  I am hoping today is the beginning of a new way of life for me.

I plan on documenting my journey for my own purposes however, if someone finds this, they are welcome to read. 

I will make my first journal entry soon.

With that, I would like to pray…please bear with me as I can’t really remember a proper prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray for peace.  Not only for me but also for my family, friends, and others who need it in our times of need.  Lord, I pray for forgiveness that I have fallen so far away from the church.  I pray for forgiveness of any sin that I have committed in the past.  Lord, at this time I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
